The Noe Valley Association Annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Douglass Park in San Francisco’s Noe Valley neighborhood this year on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10am – 12pm. The Egg Hunt is a neighborhood community event and tradition that is open to all families.

The Noe Valley Egg Hunt is a free egg hunt on the grass field of Douglass Park. There will be two separate hunts at 10:15am and 11:15am. Toddlers will get a head start and parents are asked to limit your children to five eggs to there are enough for all.

Skillet Licorice to perform at the Noe Valley Egg HuntThere will be live music from 10:00am – 11:30am with Skillet Licorice. Elise Engelberg and Matt Knoth make up the duo, two of San Francisco Bay Area’s root-music luminaries. Come listen to amazing “fiddle breakdowns, slinky blues, sparkling banjo breaks, ragtime or dreamy waltzes” of the styles and techniques dedicated to America’s folk traditions.

Refreshments and a raffle will also be a feature of the event. Raffle tickets will be $2, $3, or $5 for fun items courtesy of local merchants.

Sponsors for the Egg Hunt this year are Just For Fun & Scribbledoodles Invitations, Droubi Team, the Roddick Family Trust, and the Noe Valley Association.

The Noe Valley Association was established in August 2005. Along with featuring popular annual events such as the Easter Egg Hunt, SummerFEST, and Harvest Festival, the Noe Valley Association participates in keeping the Noe Valley neighborhood clean seven days a week by sweeping sidewalks and gutters, removing bulky and illegal trash, removing graffiti marks, pruning trees, removing dead trees, planting trees, and much more to keep the community clean and aesthetically pleasing.

Be sure to come out on April 15 with your young children to celebrate Easter, enjoy live music, meet with others in the neighborhood, and have a lovely Saturday morning outing.
