Google Coming to the Mission San Francisco

UPDATE:  Apparently Google may not be moving to the space on Alabama and 16th Street.  A friend just sent me this link: Socketsite.com. I’ll update when I get more information. San Francisco New Development Gearing Up!

I was visiting a client at the SOMA Grand on 1160 Mission Street in San Francisco.  They have a great view overlooking downtown San Francisco, and I was surprised by how many cranes I could see towering over the city like hungry birds.  New developments are breaking ground all over San Francisco including this 200 plus unit rental building at 1880 Mission Street between 14th and 15th Street (pictured). According to the Huffington Post article,  San Francisco Payroll Tax: Mayor Lee Proposes Sweeping Change To City’s Tax System, San Francisco receives $400 Million a year from the Payroll Tax which Mayor Ed Lee is looking to scrap. Target in the Center of San Francisco!

You won’t need to head out to Colma anymore for your Target fix, there’s a location going in at the Metreon; 85,000 square feet of shopping mayham opening in 2012.  I don’t think I’ve ever actually bought anything at Target, but I know there’s a lot of love for this place.  Finally something useful at the Metreon.  Click HERE to see the whole article in the San Francisco Sentinel.
